About Us
Al Bidayah is an independent educational platform dedicated to documenting and presenting Islamic history and world history through visual storytelling.
Founded in 2021, our mission is to make complex historical subjects easier to understand by combining rigorous research with carefully designed family trees, timelines, maps, infographics, and educational videos. Rather than replacing traditional books, our work complements them by providing a structured visual overview that helps readers connect historical events, dynasties, and genealogies.
Today, Al Bidayah publishes educational content across multiple platforms, including YouTube, Patreon, and our collection of professionally printed historical charts.

What We Publish
Our work is organized into three primary areas:
Educational Videos
Through our YouTube channel, we produce documentaries, family tree explainers, historical timelines, biographies, and animated visual guides covering Islamic history and related civilizations. Every video is designed to simplify complex topics without sacrificing historical depth.
Research Publications
On Patreon, we publish extended articles, detailed historical analyses, exclusive family trees, high-resolution graphics, and supplementary research that expands upon the subjects covered in our public content.
Historical Charts
Our printed family trees and educational posters transform extensive historical research into clear visual references. Each chart is designed to help students, educators, researchers, and history enthusiasts better understand genealogies, dynasties, and historical relationships.
Our Methodology
History is preserved across thousands of pages of chronicles, biographies, and historical manuscripts. While these sources contain invaluable information, tracing relationships between historical figures, families, and successive generations can often be challenging.
At Al Bidayah, we organize historical information into structured visual formats that allow readers to understand centuries of history at a glance.
Our methodology is based on four guiding principles:
Structured Presentation
Historical events and genealogies are arranged chronologically, allowing readers to follow the development of families, empires, and civilizations through time.
Evidence-Based Research
Every project begins with research from classical historical works, academic publications, and recognized scholarly references. Where historical opinions differ, we strive to present the evidence responsibly and acknowledge multiple viewpoints whenever appropriate.
Visual Documentation
We believe visual learning improves historical understanding. Family trees, timelines, maps, and infographics reveal relationships that are often difficult to recognize in narrative text alone.
Educational Value
Whether viewed on YouTube, read on Patreon, or displayed as a printed chart, every Al Bidayah project is designed to serve as a lasting educational resource for students, teachers, researchers, and anyone interested in history.
Our Vision
Our long-term vision is to build one of the most comprehensive visual libraries of Islamic history.
By combining historical research with modern design, we aim to preserve knowledge and make it accessible to a global audience through documentaries, family trees, historical maps, timelines, infographics, books, and other educational resources.
